Since 2010, the UK’s total exports to China have grown 63%, making China (including Hong Kong) our 6th biggest export market. But – our exports dipped in 2016, and we are exporting less than our closest competitors France and Germany. How well are we doing, and how can we do more?

CBBC is the UK leading membership organisation helping British companies in China, and is a key partner for the Department of International Trade in China. Stephen Phillips has been CEO for 11 years. The Department for International Trade has taken over responsibility for our export strategy, and has recently appointed a new Director-General in the British Embassy in Beijing, Richard Burn (former Global Public Policy & Public Affairs Director for Diageo).
