From 19-28 March, the Lord Mayor of London led a delegation of senior City figures from across the financial services sector to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing. The Lord Mayor reported back from his visit, and briefed parliamentarians and guests on the role which the City of London and the Lord Mayor’s office play to deliver the message that London, post Brexit, is as ever, open for business.
The Lord Mayor was joined by a panel of officials and experts who discussed the future of our financial and professional services partnership with China and Hong Kong, especially in areas such as the Belt and Road Initiative, Fintech and Green Finance .
